The 2 point rule had just been adopted that season, and Tom & The Browns took advantage of it. He would run in three extra point attempts for Two that year earning himself the nickname of ‘Two Point Tupa.’ Happy Birthday Tom!

Our Doobieous Distinction of the day goes to the 1993-94 Dallas Mavericks who on January 29th, 1994 got their first home victory of the season in a 108-104 win over the Sacramento Kings. The win snapped a NBA record 19 game home losing streak, and improved their record to 3-39. That sure was a rough year for the Mavs who would go on to finish 13-69 with losing streaks of 20, 16 & 17 games thrown in there. Damn.
