Tony Cloninger remains the only MLB Pitcher to have hit 2 Grand Slams in one game. Back on July 3rd, 1966 Tony accumulated 9 RBI’s in an Atlanta Braves 17-3 victory over the San Francisco Giants. He wasn’t too shabby on the mound that day either pitching a complete game while giving up 7 hits, and striking out 5. The 9 RBI’s is two better than any other pitcher has recorded. Tony finished 1966 batting .234 with 23 rbi’s and 5 homers. R.I.P.
