1992 World Series MVP - Pat Borders
It was back on October 24th, 1992 that the Toronto Blue Jays finished off the Atlanta Braves in Game 6 of the World Series to win the 1st Championship in team history. It was the first World Series won by a Non-US based franchise, & also the first won by an African-American Manager. (Cito Gaston) Catcher Pat Borders was selected MVP for his .450 batting average throughout the series.
