On This Day - Randy Johnson Expos Pitching Debut
It was back on September 15th, 1988 when Randy Johnson made his Major League debut for the Montreal Expos. The ‘Big Unit’ earned his first win in a 9-4 Expos victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates. There was one Bucco though who got the best of Johnson. Right Fielder Glenn Wilson took Johnson deep not once but twice with solo homeruns.

John Taylor -Super Bowl XXIII Heroics
Did you dudes know that John Taylor had only 1 catch for 10 yards in Super Bowl XXIII? The good news though is that it was for a touchdown! With just 38 seconds left Quarterback Joe Montana found Taylor on a quick slant to cap off a 92 yard, 11 play march down the field. John also had a 45 yard punt return in the 2nd quarter that set San Francisco up in Bengals territory. That punt return was the longest in Super Bowl History, a record that would stand until Super Bowl 50. Happy Birthday John!

Did you know Ann Meyers is the only woman to sign a contract with an NBA Team. She inked a $50,000 offer from the Indiana Pacers back in 1979 to try out for the team. One of the top Woman players of all time, Ann participated in three tryout practices, before she was let go. Let’s give it up for Ann! Can you guys name the famous MLB Player she married in 1986?

Happy Birthday Boomer!
Happy Birthday Brian Shaw!
Giving a Birthday shout out to our guy Brian Shaw, & his Nike Air Delta Force Sneakers. I remember these sneakers so much because my Uncle Terry had them back in the day. He was 40 but a force on the backyard court with a mean sky hook. Always loved Brian’s 1990 Hoops card too where he’s hauling ass up court.

Yesterday's Heroes - Joe Kapp
Giving a 82nd birthday shoutout to none other than the ‘Toughest Chicano’ Quarterback Joe Kapp. Joe is the only Quarterback to have played in the Super Bowl, Rose Bowl, & Grey Cup.
