Happy Birthday to the ‘City Champ’ of Pahokee, FL Rickey Jackson. Rickey fractured his cheekbone in a car accident on Nov. 17th, 1989. He would only miss two games. (the only 2 missed games of his 15 year career) The leader of the ‘Dome Patrol’ would play the rest of the season with his jaw wired shut while wearing this special helmet. So Cool !!!

Sleepy Scores 39 In The 2nd Half
Celebrating the Birthday of Eric ‘Sleepy’ Floyd who turned in an epic performance during the 1987 Western Conference semi-finals against the eventual champion Los Angeles Lakers. Down 3-0 in the series the Warriors hoped to avoid the sweep. Sleepy scored a record 39 points in the 2nd half with another record 29 points in the 4th quarter alone on his way to 51 for the game.
