A day late with this one, but who doesn’t like talking about Nice Days? Let’s look back at a particular awesome game for one of our favorites here at the Amazing Blaze Zine, Mr. Eddie Murray. “Steady Eddie” had himself one hell of a nice day at the plate back on August 26th, 1985 when he went 4 for 5 with 3 homers, including a Grand Slam, and 9 RBI’s during an Orioles 17-3 victory over the California Angels. I’ve got a FREE Blaze package going to the first person who can tell us the Angels pitcher who gave up 4 homers (2 by Eddie) & 7 runs in his short lived relief appearance that day in Anaheim.
